January Jones was happy to report that her little black dog, Vinny is back home and recovering from a snake bite.

The "Mad Men" actress shared a snap of the tuckered out pooch resting on her couch on Friday, April 9. Vinny was rushed to the hospital on Thursday after a rattlesnake bit him, and the actress was praying that her furbaby would be alright. "Vinny's back home," she announced on her IG story. "Tired out but doing well.

January shared a picture of the snake that struck Vinny on Thursday. "This baby rattler bit my lil Vinny this morning," she wrote at the time. "I caught and released it but praying for my pup who's in the hospital now."

Unfortunately, the family's snake problems didn't stop there. January was forced to catch another snake in her backyard and was forced to eliminate the treat with a croquet mallet. "Right before I was forced to bludgeon yet ANOTHER rattle snake today," the actress wrote across a video of holding the croquet tools. "I almost cried. I'm sorry snake family, this house is taken."

Being the matriarch, January had to protect her son, Xander Dane Jones, and her dogs. Xander could be heard offering advice and cheering his brave mom on. "The peanut gallery safely in the house giving me advice," the star noted.

Rattlesnake warning signs have been placed at parks and outdoor areas all around Los Angeles, and it is not uncommon for one to make its way into someone's backyard. Perhaps January should call in the professionals to handle her serious snake problem.
