Britney Spears Slams 'Framing' Doc During 2 AM Dance Session

By Gary Trock

Britney Spears just had some strong words to say about the recent documentary that stirred up all the talk about the star's controversial conservatorship again, telling fans she was left in tears after seeing parts of the special. The Princess of Pop took to Instagram on Tuesday to share some footage that she shot hours earlier during a late-night, or early morning, dance session.

Britney is making it clear she is very aware of the way she has been judged throughout her life and she's tired of feeding into the drama.

She's Gotta Dance

"My life has always been very speculated," Britney began her long message to fans while she danced around her opulent living room to the tune of Aerosmith's "Crazy."

"Watched ... and judged really my whole life !!! For my sanity I need to dance to @iamstevent every night of my life 💃🏼💃🏼💃🏼 to feel wild and human and alive! I have been exposed my whole life performing in front of people 😳😳😳 !!! It takes a lot of strength to TRUST the universe with your real vulnerability cause I've always been so judged... insulted... and embarrassed by the media... and I still am till this day."

Cried for 2 Weeks

In regards to the documentary about her life, "Framing Britney Spears," the star is taking a shot and telling fans she could not watch the whole thing.

" I didn't watch the documentary but from what I did see of it I was embarrassed by the light they put me in ... I cried for two weeks and well .... I still cry sometimes!!"

Britney says that her behavior can be chalked up to doing " what I can in my own spirituality with myself to try and keep my own joy ... love ... and happiness," and that she's not put on this Earth to be "perfect" for everyone.

The social media post by Britney Spears is the first time she has addressed the controversial documentary, produced by The New York Times. The timing is interesting, as the star is currently embroiled with her father in a battle over the ongoing conservatorship, which is featured in the documentary.

As we reported, Britney wants her father out as the conservator, and also wants him to return a ton of cash he has been paid for his duties from the conservatorship. For his part, Jamie Spears claims any money he has been paid was earned and is fighting to keep his spot as the head of his daughter's conservatorship.
