Tiger Woods Reportedly 'Speeding' And Did Not Break Before Massive Car Accident

In the report, officers noted that there was no evidence to suggest that Woods never took his foot off of the gas as he plowed into the curb and off the road.

As a part of the investigation, officers also obtained several videos of Tiger driving -- which included one from the hotel -- and others as he made his way down the windy road. Tiger was reportedly driving "normal" as he left the hotel, but evidence indicates he accelerated and was speeding when he lost control.

Of course, this leads to an important question -- Was Tiger fully conscious when he crashed?

Well, as we reported, investigators with the Sheriff's Department were adamant that there were NO signs of impairment while they spoke to Woods following the accident. In other words, no alcohol or obvious drug use was involved.

But, it's interesting the Sheriff's department never retrieved a search warrant for a blood sample from the hospital to check for prescription medications. As you know, Tiger had just completed his fifth back surgery.

At this point, Sheriff's investigators will submit their findings to prosecutors to see if the legendary golfer broke any laws. For now, it appears even if he did, it would be some sort of infraction.

During the accident, Tiger suffered "multiple leg injuries" including one compound fracture. Earlier this week, he was released from a Los Angeles hospital and released a statement about his recovery.

"Happy to report that I am back home and continuing my recovery. I am so grateful for the outpouring of support and encouragement that I have received over the past few weeks. I will be recovering at home and working on getting stronger every day," he said.
