The man charged with killing Nicki Minaj's father is now facing a lawsuit from the rapper's dad's widow.
Charles Polevich, 70, was arrested on February 17 and charged with leaving the scene of an accident with a fatality and tampering with evidence. Police say Polevich knowingly left the scene instead of calling for help on February 12, after he allegedly struck Minaj's father, Robert Maraj, with his car between Roslyn Road and Raff Avenue in Mineola, NY. Maraj passed away due to his injuries in a local hospital shortly after.
Nicki's mom, Carol Maraj, filed a lawsuit on Friday, March 20, and is asking for $150 million.
