Britney Spears Offers 'Clues' With Late-Night Scrabble

The Grammy winner, currently front-page news as The New York Times airs her dirty laundry with "Framing Britney Spears," had steered clear of the drama, focusing instead on the game.

Real words on Britney's board included: Drew, Grape, Cakes, Pine, and Arise. Others, such as Sodeln and Amgod, alongside Abirv were less-so. Clearly, the point.

A mish-mash of snaking wood blocks continued to form real or invented words including Ropav, Wool, Wet, Tiuq, and Sins. A caption, meanwhile, saw the much-troubled star go upbeat.

"Can you find a word that isn’t actually a word ???? Sometimes it’s fun to make ones up 😜🤷🏼‍♀️ !!!!" Britney wrote.

With her 2008-commenced conservatorship under the magnifying glass via the documentary and half the world now Googling her, Britney wasn't just going to get a string of heart emoji. The stans are breaking it all down.

Topping comments with over 16,000 likes is a reply reading: "Not me looking at this like a hidden clue from National Treasure." Likewise popular was a remark stating: "She’s talking to us through code. Lets get to work."

Others, meanwhile, got to work. One follower zero'd in on Britney's "backwayds Quit," stating: "TIUQ is “QUIT” spelled backwards. If you’re looking for a clue... that’s it." And that's the #FreeBritney movement for you. The singer was also backed overall and asked if she's "ok" – not the first time fans have asked.

While Britney remains silent on the documentary, boyfriend Sam Asghari has spoken out. Backing his girlfriend of over four years, the personal trainer told People: "I have always wanted nothing but the best for my better half, and will continue to support her following her dreams and creating the future she wants and deserves," adding:

"I am thankful for all of the love and support she is receiving from her fans all over the world, and I am looking forward to a normal, amazing future together."
