JoJo penned a lengthy message expressing how happy her girlfriend has made her. She shared several cute memories on Instagram and tagged her love in the post.

"After being my best friend for over a year, January 8th 2021 I got to start calling this exceptional human my Girlfriend... and Since then I’ve been the happiest I have ever been!" Siwa wrote. "She seriously is the most loving, supportive, happiest, protective, and just the most beautiful perfect person in the world. And I get to call her mine! Happy one month to my girl! I love you more and more everyday!❤️"

Siwa also shared a special video to her TikTok account that showed the two having fun. "I did it!!😭❤️ my human. It’s been 1 month since my best friend asked me to be her girlfriend, and it’s been the best month ever. I love you☁️," she captioned the cute video.

It is only appropriate to share the news on TikTok because JoJo first started dropping hints about her sexuality by dancing to the LGBTQ anthem, "Born This Way" by Lady Gaga.

The star thanked the millions of people and celebrities that supported her after she broke the news to the world with a joyous Instagram Live video. "It's been the best 48 hours!" she exclaimed.

"What matters is that you guys know that no matter who you love that it's okay!" she said on IG live. "I think coming out has this stigma around it, that it's a really, really, really scary thing but it's not anymore!"

JoJo even received support from her tough, former dance instructor, Abby Lee Miller. "I always knew the world would be a more colorful, positive, sparkly place with a kind, loving, dazzling triple threat like you in it," Abby wrote about Jojo, "a shining example for the kids out there to live their BEST lives each and every day. *You put your heart on the platter! (If you know you know) Love you kiddo!!! Keep making me proud 🌈."
