'Dance Moms' Alum JoJo Siwa, 17, Comes Out As Gay With Clever T-Shirt

The 17-year-old, who is known for her colorful and sparkling bows, thanked her cousin for the new gear.

"My cousin got me a new shirt," JoJo tweeted. "Thanks for the shirt cousin."

Siwa first became a star when she was one of the main child stars of the popular reality show, "Dance Moms." After partying ways with the franchise, she developed her own brand and now boasts over 10 million followers on Instagram and over 12 million subscribers on YouTube. She's a big deal and makes tons of dough!

The young star instantly received love and support from her millions of fans but also some of her famous friends. Lil Nas X quickly commented, "if u spell 'swag' backwards, it’s 'gay'. coincidence??" Netflix star Colleen Ballinger, better known as her character, Miranda Sings, sent a kind message that JoJo appreciated.

"I've known you a long time and this is the happiest I've ever seen you," Ballinger wrote via Twitter. "You're absolutely glowing and I'm so proud of the woman you are becoming! love yoooou!"

Some fans thought she came out the evening prior because she shared a fun TikTok video of her jamming to Lady Gaga's "Born This Way." She lip-synced the lyrics "No matter gay, straight, or bi, Lesbian, transgender life, I’m on the right track, baby, I was born to survive.”

Siwa is at a very important point in her life because she's getting ready to go to college. The star shared an "Extreme Makeover" video where she transformed from the fun-loving girl who loves bright colors to the fun-loving college girl on the same day she came out. She hinted that she was thinking of majoring in business or economics but she probably already knows a few things about building a business.
