Diddy Cancels His Legendary New Year's Eve Party Due To COVID-19

"In efforts to keep everyone safe & healthy, unfortunately, WE ARE NOT HAVING A NYE PARTY THIS YEAR!" Diddy posted on Instagram.

He continued, "I hope everyone had a blessed holiday and wish you all the best for the new year!"

Interestingly, he included another caption alongside the message, considering that some believed he may change his mind before the big day. "ATTENTION: THIS IS TO EVERYONE, ALL OF MY FRIENDS & FAMILY ... I’M NOT CHANGING MY MIND ... SEE YOU ALL IN 2021! LOVE YOU! ❤️" he wrote.

Diddy was bombarded by reactions to the news, including a message from 'Scandal' star Kerry Washington, who responded, "Amen!"

"This is responsible. Let’s hope we can travel by the summer next year Damn another year I can't go to Diddy's NYE party," one fan wrote. Another said, "Diddy this is the best thing I have seen all year, especially after the birthday party. Yes stay safe, I don’t blame ya for it! Look out for your health and safety is always a flex I’m here for💯❤️."

The stars crammed into Story Nightclub including Fat Joe, Meek Mill, DaBaby -- and topped the night off with performances and a massive fireworks show! At the time, Miami was the hottest spot on the planet, after the Jonas Bros. showed up to perform nearby at the Fontainebleu Hotel with their wives Sophie Turner and Priyanka Chopra.
