90 Day Fiance alumni Robert and Anny Springs have announced they are expecting a baby. This will be Robert's sixth child and Anny's first.
Robert has custody of 5-year-old Bryson, but the other children seemingly live with their respective mothers. Before Anny moved to the United States to marry Robert, he was a single father. He described single fatherhood as "not hard at all" except for those times he has to work and does not have access to childcare because his family lives so far away.
On Instagram, Anny shared a photo of her belly and a sonogram screen. She wrote, "I feel so happy and fortunate to share the arrival of my baby -- 'my gift from God.'"
She went on to say, "It fills me with joy to know that I'll have someone to fight for and give the best of myself to. I wait for him or her with lots of emotion."
For many viewers, this may come as a surprised. In February, Anny revealed on '90 Day Fiance: Tell-All' that she had been dealing with infertility issues her entire life.
Robert and Anny have had a storied past on the TLC reality show. When the season began, viewers learned that the two met in the Dominican Republic and that Robert proposed to her just hours after they met. Anny moved to Florida, and the two wed in a small ceremony that was featured on the show.
Anny has been clear about her intention to have a child with Robert in spite of many viewers leaving comments on her Instagram photos that this would be a bad idea.
On 90 Day Fiance, Robert initially lied to Anny about how many children he had. He eventually told her the truth. On the show, Robert said, "I have five beautiful children by four different women. I love my children, but the four that don't live with me, I don't get to see very often." Seemingly, the majority of his children live in Brooklyn.
According to Robert, he has changed a lot over the years. He says he used to party a lot, but this is not the case anymore.
This may not be the last pregnancy announcement from the couple. Anny has told TLC cameras that she would like to have five children. Currently, fan reactions to Anny and Robert's big news has been mixed. Many of their Instagram followers have congratulated the, while others have been direct in their criticism.
TLC viewers will also have the opportunity to catch up with Robert and Anny on a new episode of the spin-off show 90 Day Fiance: What Now?. Their episode will be featured on the network on April 20th.
